I will be crunching for Einstein as I have been alot as of late if I can't fill up on SETI. As long as I can keep my chiller from cycling on and off I'm happy to crunch what ever I can get. The SETI@Home staff have worked so hard to keep this project running. A few days downtime is better than 100% downtime. I reported all results and detached my work machine just in time. I'll put SETI on low resource share on my home cruncher (at some point). I don't think this is the end of the project, but it is certainly a time for regrouping and reevaluation. Could it be another victim of the Great Recession? In the meantime, there are other projects to crunch. I'm sure there will be SETI followers until the end; to those few I give my respect. As long as the purging gets caught up without overloading.. Things do seem to be smoothing out. I too am "running on fumes".
