Only one download server, and tasks in progress really low. This is going to take some time, especially if everybody tries building a large cache. Carola ------- I'm multilingual - I can misunderstand people in several languages! |

I'm trying, but so far the most I can get is an hour's worth. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

I will be crunching for Einstein as I have been alot as of late if I can't fill up on SETI. As long as I can keep my chiller from cycling on and off I'm happy to crunch what ever I can get. Rosetta is running again on my CUDA PC's just to keep the CPU's occupied and I can lower my power bill a little bit at the same time. :) |

I'm crunching Roseta (for CPU) and GPUGrid (for GPU) 'till SETI guys cleanup things. I really want to be soon, because I like SETI cause. :) ![]() |

[server outage] ...initially, Tuesday through Thursday. The SETI@Home staff have worked so hard to keep this project running. A few days downtime is better than 100% downtime. I reported all results and detached my work machine just in time. I'll put SETI on low resource share on my home cruncher (at some point). I don't think this is the end of the project, but it is certainly a time for regrouping and reevaluation. Could it be another victim of the Great Recession? In the meantime, there are other projects to crunch. I'm sure there will be SETI followers until the end; to those few I give my respect. (And of source the staff.) |

I'm out of work for my 'main' PC and I'm not bothered in the slightest and the other PC has a couple of jobs left - I'm still not bothered. Credits. RAC. They're only numbers. Don't take life too seriously, as you'll never come out of it alive! |

my cheap quad ran out last night so I started it full on with Primegrid PPSE LLR nice short WU's. It makes for a decent backup project. My main machine still has a couple days left. ![]() In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Have there been any info on when the mb splitters will be back on? Dunno, but I suspect they are biding their time. 'Awaiting validation' has dropped from 7 million something to 5 million 440k. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." ![]() |

Have there been any info on when the mb splitters will be back on? Anything before monday would be a pleasant surprise. I have been watching the numbers click by from one bottleneck to another. As long as the purging gets caught up without overloading.. Things do seem to be smoothing out. I too am "running on fumes". But I understand too why they are letting the glut that crashed things last time move along. Janice |

The splitters are getting back online it seems, getting some new tasks. Strangely the completion time is the old one, so instead of 20 mins it says 22 hours, as if they don't follow the new line. |

26/06/2010 00:14:17 SETI@home Requesting new tasks for GPU Not sure but it's funny that mine is only getting work for CPU, all my GPU requests have been turned down, been using the rescheduler to get GPU work. Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound! ![]() |
