Here is the pdf of a new paper describing our strategy for rejecting interference and finding candidate signals. This paper was presented at the Astrobiology Science Conference which was held April 26-29 in Texas.

Hey! Good stuff!!

;-)

The "crowd-sourced" RFI check sounds like an interesting idea. Not too sure how 'interesting' RFI might look as compared to such as the 'galaxy zoo' project or stardust@home... Still, I'm sure there will be some dedicated volunteers willing to go cross-eyed at the multidimensional science database plots!

Keep searchin',
Martin

As Joe pointed out, there is nothing usefull to get out of RFI, except, knowing their frequency (and harmonics) and pulse-shape, so their Software-Blanking gets time to adapt to these (powerfull) RFI, i.e RADAR.

I'm glad to hear and notice, NTPCKR, gets to work, so Science Database, gets some more and new received/RFI-blanked/computed results.
I'm sure we will be notified, is something 'Out of the ordinairy' has been found.
