<---rahlly? Yep, rahlly, since the uploads are stacking up, after a certain amount SETI will stop sending new work to you. The boys should be in in an hour or so and hopefully get it sorted out quickly. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

It's gonna be ugly for a while when they get them working again, too (unless BOINC has some sort of way to only let certain people in at a time) because I have a fairly sizable pile stacked up on my two machines and I know there's crunchers with RACs 20x what mine is! |

I noticed upload problams around 04:00 UTC. The frustrating this is my No. 1 cruncher is out of work, usually only maintains enough for no more than 18 (12-16 WU) hours, whereas my imac maintains 30+ WU, enough for 2-3 days. It seems the slower the machine the more WU it's able to download. I have the computing preferences set to "maintain enough work for an additional 3 days" |

Well, I know I've got the project back off message so hopefully everybody wont ask for work at the same time when it gets going again. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

Last night when I did my normal upload, noticed that there were about 8 that failed. However this morning I have noticed I now have over 200 that can't upload. Hopefully it will all be fixed by next Tuesday evening.. |

Yep, someone needs to open the tap. .... Can you just hop over there and give it a turn, Mark? From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs. Karl Marx wOOt, looks like they are working on the outage, outgoing just went down. California should have to claim bankruptcy. I for one don't want my federal tax dollars going to their bailout (read gift). |

Hmmmmmmm....the kitties see things are still broken. I would have thought the crew would have this in hand by now. Any word from the inside as to what the problem may be? "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

When I force an update to upload my results, it keeps telling me I am NOT requesting any new work?? I thought that would be checked by MY computer not Berkeley, so is something wrong?? Obviously I am requesting new work, hence the question |

The message originates from your own computer, not Berkeley. It thinks you have enough work on hand at present. Unfortunately, it also counts units waiting to upload. Thus, even though you yourself want work, until the backlog of uploads is cleared, your computer will continue to tell you you are not requestiung any. Try setting your cache at a longer number of days and overcome some of the delays caused by these temporary outages. Downloads should still be OK at p-resent according to the Cricket graphs. |

When I force an update to upload my results, it keeps telling me I am NOT requesting any new work?? If you have > (CPUs x2) in the UL overview of BOINC -> no work request. DUO-CPU: 2 x 2 = 4 -> > 4 ULs You need to wait that you have 4 or less ULs in the overview and BOINC will ask again for new work. |

My cache is set to 5 days extra work. I currently have only 1.5 days for CPU and 2 days for GPU and only 8 units to upload. Some units uploaded early this am and then the rest got stuck in limbo |

Just tried changing my cache from 3 to 5 days and then updated a couple of times. No joy! |
