Mhh.. ;-) sounds strange, Luke.. Since we are on the oposit
line.. Here its definitely spring. The first flowers have
showed up - and - Oh.. the GoooooZzze is back! hehe.. There`s
always two of them on the area in the front of my house.. and
they are nice to look at, but they are pretty annoying.. ;-p
Well, not going in to that.. ;-)) Today sun is shining again -
but its still pretty cold..

@ Andy: yes.. thats because we live in two different places,
both inside and outside this Boinc-world. ;-) And probably
also because I have not been much around here lately..
How are you doing? Also this spring there are places in Enland
that is struggling because of the water level.. Have you been
affected in any way? Here on my little islands we are still
sufffering of the oposit - too little water ;-) They have
brought water from the mainland for months.. but i think its
about to fix itself now.. The water pipes that lead the water
from the big source to the small sourse out here, is about to
open up again - since ice is melting. ;-D

Hi Miss Moon! Do you mean that the mains water supply froze during the winter?

Yes.. there go water pipes from a big resourse in the
neighbour community further east, as is also an island.
(mainly one big island) - and out here to our water resourse,
so it gets filled up from in there to not go under a
certain level. But yes, it was so cold for so long this winter,
so the main water pipe froze.. and here were No rain for over 4 months.
So... ;-)

Hello, My daffodils poked up today, My lilac bush is going to pop open any day, and some of the maples are getting leaves now. I will have to take a new pic for my avatar.

The exact opposite is happening here. LOL.
But in good news - it means I can start planting 100 or so trees down the bank again. Just got to have some decent rain first. We had a total of 15mL's in March.

And at least my crunching room will be warm and toasty throughout the winter months.

Regards,
Luke.

Greetings all.

Spring is trying to work its way in, but alas, the cold weather continues. I got dandelions up, leave's are starting to show on some of my tree's, my grass is turning green. Now I just want the warmer temperatures. LOL Hopefully soon. Nice pictures also Moon, thanks for sharing those. :-)

One day a father and his rich family took his young son on a trip to the
country with the firm purpose to show him how poor people can be. They
spent a day and a night in the farm of a very poor family. When they got
back from their trip the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"

Very good, Dad!"

"Did you see how poor people can be?" the father asked.

"Yeah!"

"And what did you learn?"

The son answered, "I saw that we have a dog at home, and they have four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of the garden, they have a creek
that has no end. We have imported lamps in the garden, they have the stars.
Our patio reaches to the front yard, they have a whole horizon."

When the little boy was finishing, his father was speechless.

His son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are!"

Isn't it true that it all depends on the way you look at things? If you have
love, friends, family, health, good humor and a positive attitude toward life,
you've got everything!

You can't buy any of these things. You can have all the material possessions
you can imagine, provisions for the future, etc., but if you are poor of
spirit, you have nothing!

Hei you.. ;-)

Cats and Chickens? hehe - be careful there,
or the whole thread here will be full of
flying feathers.. ;-p

We have had such a lovely spring-day today! ;-)
and they say it will continue during weekend.

pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity,
prosperity would not be so welcome."

IV closed, V opened? No problem Moon, I track you and I'll follow you anywhere, that's for sure ;-)) It's warmer even here, spring is outside my window and make me less weak, even if the tough days at work aren't over. I'll try to take a look at the boards more often. But, you know, I'm fine - and my wife too ;-))
Greetings to every Sicituradastrian or guest here, and take care!
