If you don't get your finger out of the way when closing, does it attempt to eat your finger?

Squirrel wants you to know Summer has arrived. Nice balmy 30C here in Pasadena.

No it hasn't. Cold and rainy here. (Besides it is only supposed to be Spring, what do you do when Summer really comes - bake?)

Bake? Neigh sir, Roast is more like It. :D

Nah, fry. Of course on this side of the mountains we go to the beach where is it only 25C or so.

When did you end up in the skillet? OK, yes, you can fry an egg on the sidewalk. I would, however, not then eat it...

At some point every year we get a few of days around 45C.

Not too many miles north in Death Valley the temperatures get even warmer. IIRC 55C! 134F

Been there in mid winter. It was still quite warm.

Despite bulls, wolves, squirrels and the occasional rampaging Borg, I win.

Yes, but the bull is still there, isn't it?

One last win before bed.

Got to get up early tomorrow, update my CV, start doing the whole 'looking for a job' thing.

Darn, I just realized: I have to look presentable. That means I have to take off all (well most) of my face jewelery. :(

Good morning all, and Andy.

Time to get up and see the dull cloudy, rain soaked world outside.
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Day is dull here, but light winds and threatning to rain.

I think I will take the 4 dogs out for a couple of miles, as I know, in our countryside, where the mud is banned and they will only get wet.
