I hold my Squirrel kitty in my arms just now..
And when she looks up at me, her big dark eyes tell me things that only a child can tell it's parent.

I can't possibly explain the love.......some of you know what I mean, I am sure.

Such simply inexpressable trust, love, and faith.

I am soooooo blessed.

Yeah, I am the kittyman.....that day long ago when they came into my life was a very special one.

I have known and lost more than a few. And have been diminished by their passing. Each one took a little piece of me when they left. And left a place for a new life to enter.

Lori is just now considering a new kitty to take Oscar's place in her heart.
We went to visit him this week. A beautiful Maine Coon. Black and white and cuddly all over. Of all the kitties in the world, they are the best.

Ever been on a MAC flight? In '70 while waiting for a flight at Incirlik there were a lot of reporters in the "waiting room". Very late at night and it got me wondering. Good 'ole Bob Hope and his Ladies(forgot their troupe name-Golden something?) just landed. Being around Christmas he must of been doing his Vietnam USO thing.

Well, it has been nice, but I've said way too much. I don't like to give out personal/personel info. Know what I mean?

Correction: It was Christmas of '69 not '70(for those data checking). Gone from the area by fall of '70. I was in and out of Incirlik so many times, to and from the Middle East, it's hard to remember sometimes. Especially since The Old Steel Trap is mighty rusty. Oops, there I go with timelines again.
