Take that Vacation you talked about, don't beg her to come back it won't be worth it. I ended up in St Thomas USVI after breaking up with a girl, glad I did. She has been divorced twice since and gained about 200 lbs.

My brother had a girl he was deeply in love with for years and my brother was talking marriage. She dumped him for a commune and my brother badly hurt. Flash forward to today. His wife (another woman) and him have two teen age kids and the other girl is a distant memory. Take some time and hang out with a friend or family till the hurt is not so bad and then make start making plans again. Right now you shouldn't do anything other than getting over the hurt.

well further to my other post about getting married, is all off, we have split up. All i can say is I am devastated, shes just fallen out of love with me, I am all screwed up as you can imagine....

I'm really sorry to hear this Dave, but as others have said, better to find out now before it's too late.

And I liked being single and was quite happy that way. I had my freedom, my independence and I never had to take anyone else's feeling's into consideration when making decisions.

If you care to pm me Im all ears. I have only my own tales which I wont bore the public with ... but ... I have a few things you might want to consider. I have learned a few things by my experiences and am not a counsellor by any means but a man who has loved and lost, and lost hard, but I am not negative about it anymore. I understand the tears all to well but am happier in the short term. Let the tears flow. Take the time and wait and see what she says. Enough said for now but do pm me if you care to chat.

It could be she panicked, in which case, give her a few days. If not, you likely don't want to hear this right now, but you may be better off without her.

Believe me, there are a lot of women out there looking for that most elusive of quarry: a good man.
