I've been able to get CPU work, but haven't had any GPU work for days now - it's not just me is it? I don't see mention of this problem anywhere else...

New work is flowing, but as so many people are lined up for it.. well, waiting is.

About 1 request in 20 actaully gets something, but things should catch up in a few more hours.

Caches haven't refilled here, but I have got some new work, so no worries.

I am getting enough to crunch but only keeping about a 1/2 hour cache. I am lucky to get units once in 30 requests but mine is probably hungrier and asking more. At least everything is slowly coming back to life, maybe by morning things will clear a bit.

Are you using the rescheduler? If yes, perhaps your BOINC client got confused by that.

Are there any hints (backoffs) in the project properties (Projects tab)?

As you can see in the screen shot I do use Reschedule, but usually just to move VLAR off the GPU and only sometimes to give work to the GPU. For a few days now I have been completely out of GPU work and only had VLAR for the CPU. No backoffs or any other messages.

That reminds me; can someone point me to the instructions for setting the <FLOPS> thing? My "3 day cache" actually means 2 day GPU cache and 4 day CPU!

I am starting to get more units now, probably 1 in 6 connects now for work. Only allowing GPU work and will use the CPU's for VLars.

The basic instructions are the most recent post in the sticky FAQ's, Astropulse, Cuda, MultiBeam - Read Only.

I posted some updated notes in Flops, fpops, and all that jazz!

I will give it another read, have never been able to figure that Flop thing out and yet so many make it seem so easy.

I'm down to my last two jobs on my main PC.....after that, if there is no work, I'll update my BOINC Manager and enhanced app, look at joining another project and install the relevant app for that.

Are you sure that Allow New Tasks is clicked on your main PC? ;-)
