Excuse me if I brag a little further. I was the 96th person in BOINC to get 100,000,000 - a milestone which will never change no matter how many more achieve 100,000,000. Congratulations all 100 million 'stoners.

Thank you.

Nice mark....
I'm a little over halfway there....on Seti.

Thank you Mr Mwowwwwwwwrrrrrr ;) It's a slog to get that extra 1, but "you're worth it" as the adverts say.

2 million seti for me!!!

5 million seti for Team CMOT!

Is hitting 2 different milestones at the same time a milestone?

Since my departure about 18 months ago, I've managed to crank up over 1 million BOINC credits! Onwards to 2 million.

Hey, thanks!!!
Nice to know somebody notices the crunchers who rule the road.

Really tho, I do not rule the road, it's the thousands upon thousands who follow in my footsteps. Without them, my contribution would be meaningless.

Bumping for Siran.

I re-created this thread since #XIX got too large for the dial-up users. Enjoy.... :)

SETI/BOINC MILESTONE THREAD GUIDELINES:

    01. Please do not post any embedded images. If you must include an image in your post, for illustrative purposes, create a link to it. No thumbnails either, please. Stats images are allowed in signatures only.
    02. While quoting a post with a very long broken URL in it, fix it if you know BBCode, otherwise delete it or place spaces in it to break it up so it will wrap properly.
    03. While making a post, with a long URL, use a small link name. An option, if you have no control over the url, is to use http://tinyurl.com/ to create a new "tiny" link.
    04. Please do not use obscene language and/or threaten other participants. Moderators may delete such messages.

HINTS FOR DIALUP USERS:

You can update your preferences in your account. Edit your "Forum preferences":

    01. Set "Show images as links". This will also create a link for images in signatures, but will not hide avatars.
    02. Set "Hide avatar images". All you will see is the username and stats.
    03. Set "Hide signatures". Some signatures have useful information, links to related sites and such and witty quotes. If you set this, there will be no signatures displayed. ( See #1 in this section)

Greetings all,

Well, just as I was able to get my RAC above 1600 for a day or 2, this happens.

Between my 2 BOINCing boxes, I have 41 WUs in the upload queue. 7 more and I will have a milestone for the number of WUs waiting to upload. The last time this happened I had 47.

Oh, and my RAC has dropped below 1400 too. :(

Keep on BOINCing...! (if you can) ;)

Agree to that, this weekend braught me to new milestones:
322 waiting uploads (and cache empty),
at the moment 57k pending credits; and if i can upload the waiting WUs, my pendings will go far over 60k, also a milestone.

But i think, my backup project is also happy to get more spare cycles as usual.

Greetings Highlander,

Well, I only have 2 PCs running BOINC so my upload queue is going to be smaller. ;) Also, I believe I have my cache set to 3 days, if I remember correctly.

I used to run more than one project, but I recently found that SETI would not get any new WUs while I was. I would set the other projects to "no new tasks" and when they finished, SETI would get WUs again. Go figure... I have no idea why that was happening. Just running SETI, I have no problems in getting new WUs when my cache is emptied of finished ones.

My upload queue is now up to 43 with one WU on each machine ready to report. I believe I will hit my milestone within the next 10 hours, that is unless SETI fixes the current upload problem, again, before then. ;)

Keep on BOINCing...! :)

Yes, new pending milestone:

Pending credit: 87,115.18

My logs says also, that the upload was relativly fast after the outage: little bit more than half an hour. Cricket graphs tell the same -> peak till 30 MBit UL. WOW, they must have really found the right button :-)

Siran: look at my compis, running also two with 2 days cache, i like a short turnaround-time.
NNT very rare in use, only if boinc is to optimistic what i can crunch.
