Actually Mike, I've seen it snow at -40C. It snows hardest between +1 and -3.

Another nice day here in Paradise North, about half an inch (1 cm) of snow yesterday, should get the same today. Just enough for the city plows to fill up the end of my driveway.

Now that the upload/download excitement has died down to a dull roar, we can get on with more important stuff, like -

Winter storm warning for
London - Parkhill - Eastern Middlesex County continued

..Heavy wet snow and patchy freezing rain this evening..

This is a warning that dangerous winter weather conditions are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

I just used the blower to move about 10 cm (4 inches) of very heavy and wet snow out of the driveway, because we had to get a car out. I think I will do it all again in about an hour to get the car back in, and then again later in the evening after the city snow plows bury the end of the driveway.

In case anybody thinks I'm complaining about the city plows, I fully understand that they have no choice but to fill my driveway every once in a while. I really don't mind shovelling the snow out the end of the driveway. What does REALLY upset me is when I have to shovel chunks of my front lawn out of the driveway. 20 bucks worth of reflector posts from TSC has (mostly) stopped this.

There was a big storm over Europe last weekend. In France 50 people died because of it, in Belgium 1 person died because he got a tree on his head. Near to my house a whole bus stop was ruined, the glass just fell out.
Today was sunny but cold.

Yesterday was the first time in 2.5 months the mailman was able to deliver mail without leaving the truck to get to our rural mailbox. The snow is melting!! Yea!!!

But, cloudy, drippy again. I'm ready for some real SUNshine!

Not here........March has gone out like a lamb rather than a lion....

Supposed to be in the mid 40's f by the end of the weekend.......
Need to get out into the back yard to see how my Pachysandras are doing after this winter.........

Another nice day starting in Paradise North. This may be spring, or it may be another of Mother Nature's cruel jokes.

Sunny today, high of around +2C (35F). Snow melting nicely. Forecast is for much the same for the next 5 days.
