I had a problem when I was upgrading my Geforce driver from version 19562 to 19621. My OS is Microsoft Windows XP Professional x86 Edition, Service Pack 3, (05.01.2600.00) 32 bit. My card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 (1023MB). I downloaded the new driver and simply click on it to install. I wasn't doing anything different from previous updates, where I had no problems. This time, however, the upgrade overwrote my system tools. I was unable to adjust my performance, and my monitor and update were also screwed up. I tried to reinstall system tools, with no luck. I was finally able to fix things by uninstalling and deleting all my Nvidia software, fixing my register and reinstalling, from scratch, driver 19562 and system tool 6.05. Everything is working fine, now. Anyone else had this problem or am I the only one? |
