Yes, of course, they are all used in parallel for one task at most projects. I think there's one project that uses the cores for multiple tasks (not 48 though). You already crunch CUDA WUs on your two nVIDIA GPUs. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=1473989532 But, you could increase the performance of your whole systems with installation of optimized project applications.
