Yeah, but he got competition from Sebastian Vettel, Massa, Alonso and Hamilton. He was only seventh in today's trials. Tullio |

Jenson Button commented that his car didn't feel right after his 8th position which is to be considered when evaluating experience of new teams, cars and drivers. |

It is true that NASA is more known than ESA in Europe. This is due to the fact that the NASA site is much better than any ESA site and gives much more information on the missions, even on those, like Cassini and Huygens, which carry ESA instrumentation and spacecrafts.I often visit the NASA site, while the ESA sites are often outdated. Maybe each European nation tries to put out a site in its own language, while NASA has only two languages, English and Spanish. Tullio |

I was just answering the article linked by Norman Copeland. If this bothers anyone, my post can be transferred to Science (non-SETI). Tullio |

It depends. Vettel and Hamilton are his main competitors. With no pit stops for refueling, the qualifying laps will be also crucial for the race. If Vettel had not suffered a mechanical failure, he would have probably won. Tullio |

It is still very early in the season, so hard to draw conclusions. Not only was Vettel knocked down by a problem that may not repeat, but Webber qualified lower than he usually does. I think the Ferraris, MacLarens and Red Bulls are all technically very close, and the Mercedes and Renaults could improve within a few races. Should be a very interesting season. |

I believe if this season is one of the driest seasons on record the best tires will win. |

I believe if this season is one of the driest seasons on record the best tires will win. But they are all Bridgestone. |

I believe if this season is one of the driest seasons on record the best tires will win. But they still get to choose between 2 compounds and how much of each they use. |

I've read that Bridgestone is leaving Formula 1. Maybe because they must provide too many compounds. Who is making tires for Nascar? Tullio |

Only the first few laps were damp, Button changed to slicks on Lap 6, had a small hiccup then never looked back.... |

I think that Schumi (10) is starting to regret his decision to come back. |
