A friend's new memory stick write protected itself while storing movies on it. Any one know how to remove the protection and restore access it. If the memory stick does not have a sliding switch to turn on write protection, download and try this: http://www.apacer.com/en/support/downloads/Repair_v2.9.1.1.zip It's a low level formatter for USD flash drives. If it's a Sony MicroVault stick, they have a UFD Formatter program on their support site for their sticks at the bottom of this page: http://www.sony.net/Products/Media/Microvault/products/usm-h/dl.html |
