The connectivity problem noted yesterday turned out to be one of our switches and not the router. We swapped in a replacement switch today and connectivity was restored.

Still no joy...

Looks like the connectivity problem still persists.

From the "messages" Tab:
Quote:

SETI@home Mon 22 Feb 2010 04:12:09 PM EET update requested by user
... 04:12.14 ... Sending scheduler request: Requested by user
... 04:12:14 ... Reporting 4 completed tasks, not requesting new tasks
... 04:12:16 ... Project communications failed: attempting access to reference site
... 04:12:19 ... Scheduler request failed: Server returned nothing (no headers, no data)
... 04:12:24 ...Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down

This is repeated continuously when I hit the project "Update" -button, and
has been going on for several days now.

There is an active thread in the Number Crunching Forum Problems. As this thread was started Last November. By adding information "here" where they will not look means it will be ignored (unless someone like myself comes to look).

For that reason I am locking this thread.

If the staff have to look in multiple locations (forums) to see if anything can contribute to the problem then they are spending time looking and not fixing.

Thank You for Your Concern

Pappa
