Before I start, I have read the FAQs and other similar posts but I have not found an answer..

I installed a second CUDA card in my PC. BOINC 6.10.18 is picking up the card according to the startup messages, but only the original card is doing any work. After I installed the card, I extended the desktop to the second card and restarted BOINC. BOINC immediately downloaded a number of new GPU tasks - presumably for the new card/processing capacity. The second card has a dummy plug attached to it. The <use_all_gpus> flag is set and the cc_config file is in the correct directory. Do I need to change anything in the app_info file or do I have another problem? Thanks in advance.

Sorry I can't help more help but I put this in and restarted about three times and it finally worked. I was told NOT to make changes to the app_info, made sure the settings in preferances are set.

I think you had done nearly everything..

[CUDA with Nvidia System Tools]

Which driver version you use?
URL to this host?

Maybe.., I had probs to let run nVIDIA_driver_195.x , I needed to enable PhysX to let run CUDA.

If I let run 190.x or 191.x I didn't needed to enable PhysX.

It was my system with OCed GTX260-216 on 1st PCIe (1.0 x16) and 6200 LE on 3rd PCIe (1.0 x4). Only to 6200 LE display connected.

The first time I got it working with 2 cards someone told me I needed a dummy plug. I hooked an extra monitor up and it worked and then I was able to restart without the second monitor. Just trying to think about all my problems and the advice and things I tried.

Which GPUs are this?
Maybe the new Fermi with 'old' GPU together?

You see in the first few messages something like: 'client is set to use all GPUs' ?

Yes, like hiamps said, don't change the app_info.xml .

Solved thank you. Re-installed optimized apps and it started working. I must have messed around with the configs when I first installed S@H on that machine a few months back.
