It's winter in Nebraska
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.

Oh, how I love Nebraska
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter air
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Nebraska
I'm frozen to the ground!

Oh wonderful, No wonder My ancestors left Nebraska after the Civil War(Psych!), But then they went to South Dakota(Black Hills) where My grandpa was born(Log cabin), So I'm not sure which is worse. :|

We are getting a typical Texas blizard today. snow flurries and 33 degrees. Texans are panicing and driving about 5 mph on the freeways

I hope that's at Night, Ouch! Big Bear doesn't get that cold most of the time and then It would only happen at night, usually. You and Your Family Stay Warm Blurf, That's not a good temp.

Was 20 degrees when I left for work at 2:45pm. That temp was right when I posted--around 6:14pm...it's going to be a cold night. The hydraulic lift on my van is miserable right now.

I think I've seen 24F around here, But that's It, My neighbor likes the heat no the cold and frankly I like It cool to a point, Too cold is too cold for Me. Take care and be careful, One couple used GPS and tried to take a shortcut to save 40 miles and got stranded on a snow covered back road, A rescue party had to retrace their steps to find them as It was 19F out there. Brr, That makes My shoulder hurt. They said never again after being rescued.

I live real close to work--literally 2 lights away so taking awhile to get home isn't an issue. I'm also off from Wednesday-Monday so I'm good.

We'll never leave town though-all our family is really right around us and I've worked too hard to get my medical care team all synced up with each other and don't care too do that again right now

I wasn't born yesterday, I'd pass, As tongues are wet and that is not something I'd advise to try, Besides one would need the paramedics to get free of the pole and a trip to the local Hospital too.

But Rick, it is only flurries and squalls so far. The serious snow doesn't start for another few days.
