With the next update I may very well be on page 1 for Top Hosts!

Welcome to my neighborhood....LOL.

I am waiting for things to stabilize after the long outage to see where my rigs shake out....

What you don't realize is how little CPU time is actually used by your daily use.....
Unless you are doing video or audio processing, cruising the net and doing bookkeeping tasks and such really doesn't take too much away from the Seti crunching in the background.

Wish I could do a bit more myself, but financially, I just can't.
Even if I could afford right now to stuff another Cuda in the Frozen Nehi, I would have problems with power distribution to the rigs, and paying for it.

Sending a large fraction of my take home pay to WE Energies (or Wienergie, as some here locally call them) every month takes a big bite outta things.

If I wanted to do things just for show, I could take the GTX295 outta my 920 rig and stuff it into the Frozen Nehi just to have one high ranking rig.....but the reality is that I probably do better overall with each card in it's own rig being fed at a more optimum level than running both cards in one rig.

"And that's the rest of the story."

Meow meow.

And congrats.

I'll be lucky If I can get one more GTX295 by the end of the year, But that's life.

Oh and I'm approaching 13 million credits in Boinc. :D

8 January 2000, My wife convinced me to Join Seti. I have been here for 10 years. From Seti Classic to Seti Boinc Alpha to Seti Boinc, Seti Beta and growing into Boinc Alpha Testing (and other projects).

It has been an interesting journey for Me and my computers.

Just looked over my stats after getting my new HTPC going. Seems as tho I just rolled past 3,000,000 S@H cobbles recently.

Only 9 billion more googolplex credits till I get my free toaster! ;)

As far as I know today there are for the first time ever three teams with a RAC of 1.000.000+

Yay to SETI.USA, SETI.Germany and SETI@Netherlands

I fear it will not last as yet.. but we'll keep getting there more often... (I hope :)

10 years 237 days later have just passed 1 million credits for SETI alone.

Would have happened years sooner but I had a break for a few years post millennium.
