I think 1 or 2 days is best as it will allow you to continue to crunch over most outages. I only run 1 day and have run out of work only a few times. Keeping a large cache on hand puts an additional load on the servers and should only be used if you don't have a constant internet connection.

Hi Fellow Crunchers,

Thought I'd get this out of the way before Smallville begins tonite :-)

Both my machines have Cuda processors that I am using to crunch (with optimized apps). Have any of you determined what is an optimum setting for cache size (# of days)?

I run these computers 24/7. I'm certain that both machines will have a Task Duration Correction Factor of less than 0.160000 once BOINC 'settles in' after 2 or 3 days of crunching. I'm running 6.6.36 since it seems very stable with Vista.

Regards, Nickster
