Hi, isn't that why it's called an "AVATAR". . .

Found a picture, 3 years ago, just too lazy to take, cut & paste, one now!
Now I've messed my beautiful AVATAR up and don't know on which HD it is, got too many of them.

For TODAY only ;^).

[ADDED]I always, have to, ware glases.
When every one starts to change their avatar (ratava), this could be considered a DDOS attack, 8-)

Hi ArizonaMoon, a (girl)friend, whom I see from time to time and when I'm in Deventer, since I moved, several years ago, to Zutphen.
She's called Alice van Nimwegen.

Have a picture of her, started looking yesterday, but gave up, after I'd looked at over 2 thousend pic's ;), 10% of the pic's have still a number, instead of a discription.

Now, since I've a (HD)camcorder or HD-recorder(mp4), it's even worse.
But itis a a beautiful small lightweight-camera, which can record, 12 hours, in one or more recordings, whithout switching film and/or accu.

Well i have a pic that i would make my avatar, but the 4kb by 100x100 pixels put the brakes on that. I tried resizieng with infraview and photo suite. looks like i took the pic thrugh a fogged over glass shower door. Original pis is 128mb. Of course windows vista makes it all 10 times harder.

After I'de pushed the button to update, it took awhile . . .
And it was UPdated. I sure was scared, I'de crashed the DB . . .

I think it was noted here a few times before that most people don't put a real picture of themselves as their avatar. But all too often, the image they do choose to represent themselves can often tell a lot about the persons personality and profile in real life.

If you take me for instance, i have used a pint of Guinness for a long time now simply because i prefer anonymity on the Internet. But in real life, the pint of Guinness image does tell you quite a bit about me.

So i do believe you can tell a lot from a persons avatar.

Finally made an avatar. This is me from a few years back but havn't changed a whole lot. Maybe a bit less hair or added a couple more pounds ... Oh wait - did lose the wife :)

I use avatars of old airplanes on a range of forums, because that stuff interests me. In a sense, it represents me. (Old, a bit broken down, but I can still soar. Sometimes.)
