ich hab noch mals ne Frage.
In meinem Account unter SETI@home-Einstellungen steht

Run only the selected applications SETI@home Enhanced: yes
Astropulse: no
Astropulse v5: no

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen Astropulse und Astropulse v5?.


Und was haben diese Optionen aufsich?

If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications?

Use Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) if available

Use Central Processing Unit (CPU)

Gibt es vielleicht eine deutsche Ãœbersetzung von den ganzen Einstelloptionen?

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen Astropulse und Astropulse v5?.

Keiner :-) gibt's beide nicht mehr. Version 5.05 ist aktuell, kann aber nicht gewählt werden.

Und was hat es mit diesen Optionen auf sich?

If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications?

Im obigen Fall: wenn kein MultiBeam (SETI@home Enhanced) da ist, nimmst Du auch AstroPulse.

Use Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) if available

Benutze die CUDA-fähige (nVidia) Grafikkarte zum Bearbeiten der Workunits, wenn vorhanden.

Use Central Processing Unit (CPU)

Was ist daran nicht zu verstehen?

Gibt es vielleicht eine deutsche Ãœbersetzung von den ganzen Einstelloptionen?

Ja, okay, aber ich gehe davon aus dass Du weißt was eine CPU ist. Also ist diese Einstellung da, um zu sagen ob du CPU-tasks haben willst oder nicht.

Habe eine Horror Woche auf der Arbeit.
Muss täglich zwischen 5000 und 8000 Lenkräder organisiseren, was normal 3 Leute machen.
Einer hat Urlaub und einer ist krank.
Bin nahezu Gehirntot nach Feierabend.
