So do I.
Marc Gisin didn't have one but was "lucky" that his crash didn't caused him more injuries.
The newspaper Blick writes that he broke several ribs on the right side, had damage to the lung and on the pelvis. In addition, he has also had a concussion.

He wore no airbag, which is worn also by Lindsey Vonn and 45% of World Cup skiers.

Italian media reported Gisin had suffered a fracture of the pelvis (bacino in italian) but no head injuries.
What happened was first that his right ski back end hit some rough ground.
Then his left ski came under the right ski so his skis became crossed which means you fall of course.
It happens both to pros and amateurs like me:)
But as Kjetil Jansrud said "Is there one place you should fall it's not there".
Anyway. My guess is that Gisin is out of competition for now.

Marc Gisin was transferred in helicopter to Lucerne, says Swiss TV. He has three broken ribs, a brain commotion and a broken bone in his lower back (I call it bacino in Italian but don't know the English term). All wishes to him. Tomorrow is the day of Giant Slalom in Alta Badia, on the Gran Risa slope. There my brother broke a leg, but that probably saved his life. He was a heavy smoker, being a sea captain, and the bones would not heal. The doctors told him that if he did not stop smoking they would have to amputate his leg. He stopped smoking and is still alive and kicking at 84 in Pegli, near Genova.

Speaking about Dorothea Wiever.
Today in Hochfilzen it was not her day.
Instead it was Kaisa Mäkäräinen's from Finland.

And in cross-country skiing in Davos it was not Norway's day.
Instead it was Stina Nilsson's from Sweden.
Well, Kläbo from Norway won the male race...

It's not pretty, says Kjetil Jansrud (another norwegian top alpine skier) about the TV producer's decision to show Gisin's fall over and over again.
– Det var ikke pent. Nå har vi kjeftet på producer også, fordi han driver og kjører fallet i reprise. Er det ett sted man ikke skal falle er det der. Det er ikke pent, sier Kjetil Jansrud til NRK.
"We know the risk, and you can stretch it far and say it's entertainment when people run at risk and fall, but you do not have to show it again and again," he says.
The state of Gisin should be good after the reports. His sister tells him to be awake and in a stable condition.

Ah. Dorothea...
I think I'm a fan of her as well.

Yes, she's very pretty. And not from Norway:)
Perhaps not so pretty with a snotty-nose at the finish line though...

There is an article in La Repubblica on Dorothea Wiever, who is leading the biathlon World Cup. Pretty girl, she has more fans in Russia and Germany than in Italy.
