Our Swedish contender Tobias Ludvigsson is now only about 38 minutes behind in the GC. Actually 3 minutes before today's stage winner Caleb Ewan:) Tomorrow the Giro will go abroad into San Marino, an ITT race that maybe the choice of bike is important... |

Again no change in the top GC today... Speaking of Fausto Coppi. There are still lot of snow at the Passo Gavia with Cima Coppi, the highest point on the Giro next on Tuesday... http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/authorities-working-to-clear-gavia-of-snow-ahead-of-giro-ditalia-queen-stage/ Local authorities are working against the clock to ensure that the Passo Gavia is open for business for the Giro d’Italia’s queen stage next Tuesday. Having seen heavy snowfall, the Gavia has been a concern for some weeks, and race organisers stated on Tuesday that there's a 60 per cent chance the roads can be cleared ahead of stage 16 from Lovere to Ponte di Legno. The monument in honor of the Campionissimo Fausto Coppi . |

Nice to see our Swedish contender Tobias Ludvigsson finish at 12th place today. He was involved in the same crash on stage 4 as Tom Dumoulin who had to leave the Giro and Tobias lost much time in the GC then. |

And Nibali is catching up and also Yates that I thought was to give up. It's when you come to Verona the Maglia Rosa really counts:) btw, Today the Giro went to Courmayeur with some serious climbs. No climbing on the Monte Bianco though:) However it's also now Mount Everest season and many people are queing to get to the top... https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-48401491 General Classification after stage 14 1 Richard Carapaz (Ecu) Movistar Team 58:35:34 2 Primoz Roglic (Slo) Team Jumbo-Visma 0:00:07 3 Vincenzo Nibali (Ita) Bahrain-Merida 0:01:47 |

From the Giro to the Ice Hockey World Championship. Finland first beat Sweden in the group play. (Bummer... Hehe) Finland then beat Russia in the semi final:) Now Finland won over Canada in the final! Can only be compared to when the US won the Olympic final in Lake Placid 1980. Hyvää Suomi! |

Ah, Dorothea:) But now the Giro... No change in the top GC. Will Nibali and Roglic come closer to Carapaz who gained some more seconds on his birthday? Only two mountain stages to go before the ITT in Verona... |
