I see nothing. And the 25% Federal Income tax, Oh and as to the power plant, He could relocate and go Green in the California Desert and have lots of land for Solar and Wind Turbines. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

All servers except AP-splitters and Replika are up now and cricket begins rising up. Refresh server status page :-) __W__ _______________________________________________________________________________ |

Something's clogging up the works again. There was a bit of traffic for a few hours after the outage, but now the download traffic has dropped away noticeably (AP appeasrs to have stopped splitting), but my uplaods aren't going through. Most of the backlogged uploads should have gone through during the outage, so there should only have been a small backlog develop after the outage. But there's no sign of it being uploaded & most of my uploads time out after 1 second or less, and those that do get a connection still aren't uploading. EDIT- just as i was about to post this, all of the uploads just went through in one hit. *scratches head* Grant Darwin NT |

Server status says that the upload server is online, but network traffic would indicate otherwise. And all of my uploads that are slowly accumulating. Grant Darwin NT |

My tower's churning out around 15 workunits every 75 minutes or so.... it's scary to see that much of workunits stuck here, and sadly BOINC client is designed not to download any more workunits until finished units are uploaded. |

Well, the uploads are slowly trickling through, after multiple retries, which doesn't make much sense as traffic both inbound & outbound is very low. Given the amount of traffic i'd expect them to go through on the first attempt & at full speed. Grant Darwin NT |

I am getting downloads however uploads are not getting through so I will just wait and see what happens. I've got the opposite, less than 2 days work left (out of a 10 day cache) and everything is uploaded... but it's not downloading any more work. |

This seem quite strange.. I think that they have applied some sort of scheduling amongst all computers trying to connect out there. Some people say that it works straight off and others don't.. They seem to have some sort of firewall in front of the UL server letting for instance those at 0.0.0.0 - 10.0.0.0 on for perhaps 1 hour in a row, then 10.0.0.0 - 20.0.0.0 next hour etc and just discarding the packets sent to the upload server. Observe that this is pure speculation but it would certain explain the odd behaviour out there. Quite a neat way of lowering the amount of transmission packets throughout their system increasing overall throughput. As long as their scheme is rotated to peoples appropriate ipseries atleast 1 hour once a day with flawless connections everyone's caches could be filled up and thus the requirement of connecting to s@h often is reduced to a minimum. Kind regards Vyper Update: Still can't upload but communications to the scheduler gets through blazingly fast so some firewalling seem to occur! _________________________________________________________________________ Addicted to SETI crunching! I'm not touching the server until I have 16 tasks left, this gives me 6+ hours to get the uploads going. I will unsuspend them (thanks for the tip!) and then hammer them once every ten minutes until they are all through. Wait until I get my fill up, then disconnect entirely again. |

Three days of fiddling with apache configuration settings, and maybe, just maybe I've found something that will help uploads. Cross your fingers and toes... @SETIEric@qoto.org (Mastodon) |

Apparently apache ignores the fcgi configuration settings if you use This is contrary to what the documentation indicates. @SETIEric@qoto.org (Mastodon) |
