Well I hope the Einstein server comes back to life ASAP

(yeah I know this is SETI)

But I have to say it....happens to me every time I have a stack of them finished days before they are due.....and then this happens.

Ok.......back to your regular programming

I DO hope you won't blame this faux pas on ME! I'm not supposed to go ballistic until 2012! Nice to see SETI isn't the only one with problems :)

Well you must be related to many of my computers HAL!

Over my many years here I have had HAL3000,HAL_3000,and HAL_5767 (I'm on that one right now)

And I see more HAL's in the future here too!

Have a Happy

I went one better....I had a HAL and a SAL. They are both still functioning and I am currently using Proteus. All my PCs are named after computers from Sci-Fi.

A hardware fault is always possible. But they have that ATLAS cluster in Hannover, One of its nodes could have been devoted to running the Einstein@home backup. Once at Honeywell-Bull in Italy we provided UNIX systems to the Carabinieri, which always went in couples. If one crashed, the backup system would go online.
