Moon, I've found just the right kind of bean to put in that machine provided by the Doc. Coconut flavoured coffee!!! Wouldn't mind some of that bliss myself!!

During these difficult times – share what you have in yourself.. as often as possible.
Maybe That is what makes the difference that tells if we will manage or not.. To be happy at home. ;-)

Oh, yes, you are so right. To give and to be satisfied with what is already available. Had we as a culture had that mindset in the first place, we would not be in the position we are in now.

To the victor goes not only the spoils of war but, more importantly, the bias of history.

Hei Nin Ki! ;-) How nice to see a new
poster in the Coconut-corner. Welcome! ;-)

Yes... its all about the mindset.. Once
upon a time there were many cultures on
this earth with this way of thinking.. but
somewhere along the way we humans messed it
up.. Thinking that More is Better - but it
doesnt work that way..

The less we have the more happy we become
for what we got, and what we get -
The less we have, the more we have to use
ourselves as a resourse to share - Thoughts,
feelings, communication, time, understanding,
empaty, a helping hand.. Love.. But today these
things are not valued as they should - even though
its the natural core of our lives..

What Money Can and can not Buy ;-)

I keep telling my wife that. Less is more. When I first got married I had a basic set of dishes and silverware for two. I also had a formal set for 4. That was all I needed. Now we have 4 diffrent formal settings for 12, each depending on the theme. And basic set for about 10. In all the mess I have a hard time finding a bowl and spoon for breakfast and the sink is never empty.
I like it the simple way. Use it, wash it, put it away. Not the way it is now, use it, use the next one, then the next and when you run out then wash them all.

Hello Moon and Carlos. I agree keep things simple. Im 56 years old And the wife and I have accumulated to much stuff. My problem is dust magnets called collectibles. candles, vases ,do dads and the what evers. We are starting to get rid of them. what the kids and grandkids dont want gets sold. Wont get rid of the books though. We have well over 2 thousands books. Love to read.

hehehe.. aye - Its a mess. ;-)))

Well... we learn whilst we live -
And when starting out with few things, many of us
belive we need more, and will be happier with more..
So we start collecting.. So have I - I have a lot of
stuff that I wonder where to get rid of.. ;-))

But I know very well by now that its not the
ammount of things that makes me happy - but
how it can be shared with others.. and if
I actually feel welcome in between all
that sorrounds me..

I am lucky - I have a home that I love, and
im pretty sure the house loves me too. lol -
but its important to find the balance in
how much its needed to put in there..
Its not easy..... ;-))
