Neither does she sometimes........

We both luv kitties to death.......and the problem is, we are both seeing the end of the road for some of our beloved......and it hurts a lot.
And when you have that much pain in a relationship, no matter what the cause....there is gonna be trouble.
Simple things turn into arrows to be shot at the other person. Without dealing with the original issue.

My alcoholism used to be a given, but with her son now going off of the deep end......I am the lightning rod for her angst.
And I cannot defend myself. I have no grounds to. And I do not blame her......she is an ex alky about 20 years back. An 'until I die' alky..... And I saved her from the brink at that time because I loved her. That is our history together for more than 20 years. So that it always in the background.
She has been clean since. I never had the strength to walk away from it.
