HI Moon. Around here they fly over your house in an airplane and ask you for big bucks.
I can see my house from space via google who needs a photo:)

Don't feel so alone in that, Luke. San Francisco had a brief downpour on Monday, lasting about 2 hours, and dumped up to 2 inches (5cm) of rain. That caused flooding all over the area.

I have never had anyone try to sell me a photo of my own house. Sounds like a really stupid job to me.

Hei Carlos,

In photography, the 'photographer's eye' is more important than the camera. This is what made photogs like Ansel Adams so famous. Moon has a beautiful house in a vista setting so maybe this photog got a great pic of it in just the right light?

I hope she won't upgrade to a Windows 7 setting. It looks very nice as it is.

hehe - with my skills I can upgrade to windows 107 settings if you like -
you just have to wait for Windows to upgrade.. ;-))

- mmmhh.. well, acutally - I would prefer to use on of my own
photos of the house if i should hang any on the wall... ;-p
It was really nothing special with that photo, other than it
was taken from the air.. What was nice in that photo was the
house -lol, and honestly..a house is nicer seen from
the ground.. ;-D

Well.. here they seem to do it quite often - Its not the first time
we get visit of these kind of people - They do it with some years
between.. and dont ask me why - because noone buy such a thing
more than once at least.. i think..? pP

If any of my sons had moved out, and would like a photo of the
house on the wall, I would as i said, use one of my own photos of it -
and then better use some money to buy them something esle they needed.. ;-))

Nope
Now that the cat is out of the bag so to speak, a new thread by then, will make us forget and then it is a surprise again.

Uli: Did you forget something or are you using disappearing ink?

Nick: I know, I worked as a professional photographer for years. I even studied at Brooks for a while. However, Moon's own skills with a camera are significant. I would put here pictures against a pro's anyday.

ehhrmm..? ;-)) Is this the "be-good-to-moon-day" ? hehe -
Well..thank you guys.. Im glad to hear it ;-) Though I
doubt very much it can be compared to any pro`s - I have
not the experience, nor the camera to call myself anything
else but a coconut ;-) Still.. If its to see things through
My eyes, noone else can take my photos for sure - We all
get them different - Thats a strange thing with photographing,
and why its so interesting - Even if people take photos of the
same objects..

Just because all this talk about photos, I thought to post
photos i had uploaded earlier, but didnt post - If these are
any good, I dont know - but again its not because of the quality,
but to show an impression of a moment.. And that with a very
normal camera ;-)

The first one was one of the photos I took in June - middle of the night -
Properties says; date; 26.06.09 - Time 02.19 am.
The trick is that I had to hold it in my hands - out from a window in
my house to get the right height - and because of the very limited
light, it has a exposure time of 2,5 seconds. ;p But it came out to show
the situation very well.. ;-)

The next photos where taken the 20. of September 09 - between 13.20 and 13.40 pm.
- exp.time only 1/640 sec. Thats a big difference from the first.. Gulp. hehe - As this day
had such a very special light, I had to take a walk and
- remember I went rigth onto this amazing rainbow? ;-)

First photo;

2nd;

When I was on holiday I took some photos too - but I have
not had time to go through it all yet - And; One day - when
I should take photos - It just didnt work. All photos came
out with colour stripes on - and it looks like its totally
ruined. I have no idea what may have caused it - But I
dont have a camera atm. ;-) Well.. thats the end of it. LoL

Hi ArizonaMoon, but you live a beautifull country and probably close to the sea.

I've often lived close by the sea, I like it, the sound of wind and waves . . .

Hi Moon. Any thing less then 250th of a second I have to use a tripod or waste film or disc memory. I do digital now but im still in the habit of taking multiople shots of the same scene. Just to make sure of course:)
