I've just seen that video Ariz, and read the lyrics. YES, I know well "River of dreams" - only I didn't know the title. Thanks for sharing it, words are beautiful and deep and true.
So, here's my choice:

Smashing Pumpkins - Muzzle

I fear that I'm ordinary, just like everyone
To lie here and die among the sorrows
Adrift among the days
For everything I ever said
And everything I've ever done is gone and dead
As all things must surely have to end
And great lovers will one day have to part
I know that I am meant for this world
My life has been extraordinary
Blessed and cursed and won
Time heals but I'm forever broken
By and by the way...
Have you ever heard the words
I'm singing in these songs?
It's for the girl I've loved all along
Can a taste of love be so wrong
As all things must surely have to end
And great lovers will one day have to part
I know that I am meant for this world
And in my mind as I was floating
Far above the clouds
Some children laughed I'd fall for certain
For thinking that I'd last forever
But I knew exactly where I was

And I knew the meaning of it all
And I knew the distance to the sun
And I knew the echo that is love
And I knew the secrets in your spires
And I knew the emptiness of youth
And I knew the solitude of heart
And I knew the murmurs of the soul
And the world is drawn into your hands
And the world is etched upon your heart
And the world so hard to understand
Is the world you can't live without
And I knew the silence of the world

Bye

Been away for several days... a lot to read and listen to.

Been having a hard time... family issues... Doesn't it always seem that Insanity is Hereditary... you get it from the next generation... and I'm caught in the middle... between the previous generation and the next.

But I have been learning to cope... learning that they can't make me mad... but that I make me mad... so I can make me not mad... but still I lose sleep.

"River of Dreams" hits the mark these days... something stolen from me... From all of us... the wide-eyed innocence of our youth.

The River of Time washes away Our Innocence... if we stand on the shore.

I need to get into the river... not to get to the other side... just let it carry me along... to recover what is washed away.

Thank you, Moon, for that video and the lyrics.

;-) good to see you Steven..

Aye.. some days can be pretty tough - even if the situations that
occours isnt about us - we are a part of our surroundings, and
absolutely a part of our family - We cant hide, but have to find
strenght enought to stand in the middle of it all..

..and Yes, You are right,
time wash away much of our innocence. But the dreams
gives it back to us.. To dare to dream and to dare to
believe in them use the little innocence we have left,
and creates more - Its growing... ;-)
Our head may be filled with all these questions about life,
but we shall keep the innocence in heart -
Thats the Amazing Grace! ;-)

You`ll be fine Steven ;-)

Hello to you dear James! And a warm salutation to all the readers :-D Today I've met my new office PC, and the first thing done was installing BOINC/Seti@home ;-) It's a 3Ghz CPU (1 or 2 I haven't discovered yet) with 2Gb RAM, a good baby for sure. Seti is now running even in another colleague PC... I'm growing folks!!

Have a good day/evening

@ Moon: Hei, Your Royal Cononuttiness.

Yep! Sort of .... (And any other SF I can find)

Caught the last few episodes on TV about 30 yrs ago. Loved what I saw.

Must try and find/get the whole lot one day.

PS: Sorry about the "un-needed image", hope it didn't cause any bad reactions. :)

I used to watch BS on TV some years ago, and really like it. Missed the last few episodes tho. About the time that I was watching BS, I bought a brand new Jeep Cherokee which I named "Liberator". :D

I saw it in USA, California. I don't recall the channel it was on, but it was probably one of the cable channels like "SciFi", which is now known as "SyFy"
