Don't you ever get tired of seeking external justification? There's nothing to be gained from your question or this thread. "Stay or go", it's up to you . . . and you will do what you want to do anyway. You've caused a lot of problems in the past and I suspect you will cause more in the future unless you find a way to control the source of your problems.

No, I don't.
Yes, there is.
Yes, I will.
Maybe so.
That's your opinion.

Mark caused the problems? From what I've seen, the problems come from the provocation of others who like inserting small needles into others just for the **** of it. If the cap fits...

So Mark asks a question. People answer that question honestly. If Person A's answer doesn't match Person B's answer that's just too bad. It is what it is. Don't ask questions that you may not like the answer to. Even worse, don't flame (directly or indirectly) a person who's answer differs from yours. That just shows immaturity.

We already did that. Remember the post ratings and how they were abused because people wouldn't rate the post, they rated the person posting.

It might be good in the "Questions and Answers" forum for rating the best answers to problems. Even then I can see some people abusing it because they didn't like a particular person.

Oh, dry up. Are you trying to blame me for Mark's behavior? I don't think I have even addressed him in more than six months, yet during that time I have noticed him being sanctioned for what he himself has done on these boards. As I understand, that is the whole point of this thread: to tweak the rest of us here about his going off the deepend; and asking for permission to continue doing so. I'm not going to enable his behavior (as you appear to be doing), though I recognize he will ultimately do as he pleases.

Of course you should stay Mark and if you need to ask now and again for reassurance then I am sure most people won't mind..

Sorry if I hit a nerve! I did not accuse you of anything. You did not need to even post in the first place.
As you know full well there are persons using these forums who delight in flaming and who specialise in getting away with it. There are some who never seem to see it or go along with it, which is a very great shame. If agents provocateurs succeed in sufficiently annoying a sensitive person it is hardly surprising if they eventually react. I do not group you with any such but I just wish some others would have a care and think a bit before they either insert their deliberate barbs, send abusive PMs, or get their friends to do it.

Well said. It is VERY apparent that there is a small group that take delight in sniping at others. Maybe it is only that small group that can't see it?

Mark's cruncher?
Good golly, Dr.C., then he must be trying to build a space elevator and search for E.T. at the top!
I suspect E.T. will turn out to be cat-shaped.

agents provocateurs(Bullies), Yeah I sure know what those are, I had two of them when I was growing up at one point in My life, Thankfully I've got a few less brain cells and I've got a slightly thicker skin now too. Besides I have forum provided tools(the Red X) at My disposal here that I can use If someone were to try and flame Me(which would be very unwise to do).

Please keep this thread civil. There's a difference between answering the questions that were asked, and getting nasty.

I was asked in 3 PM's to have my turn here...and assuming the answer will be taken as respectfully as it was offered I'm ok with doing so.

As to the questions involved...Msattler-I will not answer stay or go-it's not even an issue here. That is entirely your choice and noone here can make it for you.

I will merely backup what SJ, Michael Roberts and Ozzfan say pretty clearly. In saying this I am not referring to the Manic Bi-Polar issue-I am referring completely & unilaterally to the alcohol issue which will only serve to enhance the Bipolar issues such as aggression, etc.

Yes, please keep the thread polite.
I really don't want my question to incite infighting amongst the rest of you.

While certainly still far from perfect, I have been trying to be a bit more civil on the boards, and feel that I am moving in a more positive direction.

I will keep trying.

Thanks for the support shown for me here, and dissenting opinions have been duly noted.

No sir, you could only "hit a nerve" if I cared about your opinion.

As for claiming you did not accuse me of anything, that's a little disingenuous, given that you quoted my post. You also neglected to include your own response to me which said:
Mark caused the problems? From what I've seen, the problems come from the provocation of others who like inserting small needles into others just for the **** of it. If the cap fits...
Your statement, "If the cap fits..." is clearly accusing me of the provocations you say are the only problem here. That you conveniently ignore Mark's role in this is another issue.

If you think people are flaming you, then report it. I have done nothing but weigh in on the issue presented by this thread, Mark's own question "Should I stay or should I go??" Nothing in his query suggested, as you and others here have done, that the only posts to be tolerated are those voting for him to stay.
