You're welcome. :-)

Are you sure you don't have indoor raccoons? You have a cat-door in your door? Or even just a small hole down at the floor? Seems to me that raccoons are ready for Mission Impossibles...

Thank you SuperJoker, Richard, Uli, Mark, Michael, Fuzzy (great video!), Sirius, John, OzzFan, & Blurf!

Inspired by a friend who keeps posting photos of adorable ducklings and goslings on her Facebook page, I told Eric I wanted to take a walk around a lake that is not too far from our home. I thought the circumference was 3 miles; Eric thought it was about 5. Turns out it was a little over 9 miles.

The lake was quite deceptive with many bays to walk around and lots of vertical changes on the hiking trail. Eric kept suggesting we turn back, but I did not want to be defeated by the lake on the uh... 25th anniversary of my 21st birthday. Silly me... We got all the way around the darn thing, but I have to admit that the lake won in the long run.

I am responding well to Advil, but Eric has bad reactions to Ibuprophen and so he just took some aspirin. The poor man can barely stand right now! He was going to cook me a special dinner, but instead I tossed a quick salad and nuked some left-overs for us. I'll have to take a rain-check on Dinner ala Eric.

On the plus side, the wildflowers were beautiful today and I saw four ducklings, more goslings than I could count, two stellar jays, a blue heron and a swan. Best of all, I didn't get eaten by a cougar!!! Believe me, after the 5th mile Eric and I looked like a couple of weak, sick deer in need of culling from the herd! Thank goodness all the cougars were napping!

Anyway, thank you all for your wonderful birthday wishes. It really has been a great birthday! I always say that it is not what you do that matters, it is who you are with. I am happy to be spending my birthday with the man I love and with all of you, my friends.

Fondly,
Angela

Well just think of this, If Eric had asked to turn around at the 5 mile mark(It was probably something else, But I digress), You would have walked 10 miles instead of only 9 miles, So aren't You glad You skipped that last mile? I'm glad You & Eric survived and had a good day otherwise, Even If You did discover a few "New" muscles, I'm with Eric I'd take the aspirin, But If Advil was all that was available I'd take that as I can take either one. Oh and You're welcome Angela.
