Just want to gloat a little... or maybe alot :)

I know I only have 1 pc, but under 1 year and number crunching almost everyday and night, I am now number 1 in Mauritius. :) :)

Largely in part that there are not many people doing it here...

But still just going to give myself a pat on the back and print off another certificate :)

It is always nice to be able to look back at the pack and say...YES...I am the best! Keep up the great work Sid.

All good stuff. Congrats!

And where's that?!

Ok... So it looks like rather a nice place for a holiday :-)

What do you use for an internet connection down there?

I just looked at your link to the islands' homepage...omg...it's like Fantasy Island...if you remember that show. Now that beats the heck out of my cold and snowy province...packing bags...renewing passport...lol.

When your on holiday this place is like fantasy island. but i work here so its not, but its still good.

Internet connection is not the best. 1mb is like $40 usd and you get 2 mb, but thats expensive and not worth it.

Maybe next year :)

weather here is always good, even when it rains its never cold :)

Congratulations!

No matter which country, it is never easy. I come from a country with small SETI community, and can only manage No. 2, and doesn't look like I can stay there while staying in my allowed power envelope.

Perhaps it is time you look for a team - more challenges there as well :)

Well done Paul...I am sitting at number 2 on my sign up date but I am closing in on number one. Finally broke through the 10,000 RAC for the first time this morning thanks to Astropulse. Now I just need to get a CUDA card to make this a real efficient cruncher.

Thankyou
There are only 180 people in my class so it wasn't too hard to do the i7 and the opp app and some overclocking and the q6600 before my i7 also helped. I have a cuda card but when I use the opp apps I don't get any cuda work. Can't understand it.
Bye Paul

I might eventually make #4, but the rest are far beyond my means.
