There was little done on the science database/pulse table problem over the weekend - we hit a couple snags so we tabled it until we were all here in the lab today. It looks like we're doing the big move successfully now (taking the 500 million pulses from the old table and inserting them into a new, better formatted table with more extent space). I was hoping that we'd be able to do some trickery to get assimilation flowing again simultaneously, but it looks like that isn't in the cards. With the assimilator queue clogged we can't delete anything, which means we ran out of room to create new workunits, or at least enough to keep up with demand. Hang in there, folks.
