In spite of all the enhancements to driver safety, since Ayrton Senna's untimely death, there are still the inherent risks involved - another recent example being, Henry Surtees, the son of John Surtees, who sadly died, in a Formula 2 race. It makes a mockery of the agonising antics, displayed by 'soccer players'!

That was the first thing I thought of when Massa hit the wall. I remember, as a kid, watching Senna take the top podium in 90 and 91 when he raced in my hometown of Phoenix. We were robbed of a great talent with his death.

It gives the other teams, plenty of time to purchase and fit, 'armour' to their cars, if nothing else - we've all seen how Schumacher has, too often, 'won' races!

While Schumi's skills were sharp a few years ago, even if they have not dulled, he is still at a disadvantage due to Ferrari's inconsistent cars. Massa looked like he was just about getting a handle on the car and still couldn't place many points on the board. The diffusers are a killer this year (Brawn has shown how powerful they can be), along with the erratic KERS.
