unfortunately, that would be an invitation to the spammers (there is already enough problem with them). You can also get help through email (check the BOINC helpers page). Although, we would much rather help people on the boards as there are more helpers available to help diagnose the problem, and a single thread can help several people. Dang spammers! Well, I did look for a thread in here and Q&A, I agree that having a thread somewhere is the best way to go. Fortunately I'm fairly patient and didn't panic right away. I also didn't know about the e-mail help, so I'll try to keep that in mind for the future, thanks. -Dave
