That looks good to me - astropulse_v5 twice is definitely the way to go.

As you hint, you can add that block into an app_info referencing r103 @ v5.00 and any flavour of MB (CUDA or AK_V8) - that will enable you to polish off any v5.00 resends that may come your way, and whatever MB takes your fancy.

That was the plan.

I just copied my r103 AP section of app_info and replaced it with the new file name, version number, and what I thought the app name would be. If I'm remembering correctly, the first reference to _v5 specifies what files will be used for that application, and the second time around is what dictates the version that will be used and the files to do it with. I believe that kind of setup allows you to use different applications for different version numbers of the same kind of work (like the 4.36->5.00 changeover, for example).

That's good then..I'll copy and paste that in and see what happens.

[edit: so far, it didn't reject the app_info editing. I did NNT, shut it down, modified app_info, copied the EXE, then started back up and there's no errors, so we'll see what happens when WUs start sending again.]

I have been getting enough AP units to keep my two machines busy
up until yesterday.
I guess most of the abandoned or late units are already out here
in cruncher land.

I don't even mind being a third string wingman ];-)

If no more AP's overnight tonight, I'll allow MP's once again.

I'ts probably important to the project that all the AP's get done
before the new application comes out. So won't disallow any either.

I am having the same problems. Always downloads cuda work and occasionally AP version 5.00. With 4 AP splitters running making the new 5.03 work I just don't see where they are going.

Also having problems trying to get Boinc to fill up my cache level of 4 days. Perhaps it is a function of NOT getting the AP work, I don't know.

Wish someone from the project could shed some light on these two problems.

I think v5 AP might be linked into the 'Receive work for other applications' tickbox, and maybe not the Astropulse tickbox,
I've removed my AK_V8 entries from my app_info but haven't managed to prove anything yet as i have too much v5.00 work now!

I have tried receive "only Astropulse" and "If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications?" and do not really know how I got the AP v5 wus as I cannot remember what my SETI preferences were when I received them but probably with "If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications?".

There have been 4 AP splitters running now for some time and where are the WUs going?, Status Page is not much help now for Astropulse v5.

I'd temporary removed the MB section out of my app_info so i only get AP,
but there still seems to not a lot of AP work about.
