I recently updated to the newest version of boinc that would run stuff on my CUDA GPU. i installed it and it ran and i looked at the messages and it said it found the GPU and would use it as CUDA. That was two weeks ago. im not an administrator on this machine, because its the 'family' computer and apparently my dad doesnt trust me, so i cannot access the boinc core. so i cannot make sure its working. im looking at my computers page, and it says the last time that the computer contacted the servers was the 22nd. its the 30th. it does say it has the CUDA co-processor in the computer details. also, im connected to about 5 other tasks, but my cpu is not at 100% its running as if it did not have boinc on it. has anyone else had this problem? and, more importantly, what can i do to fix it? nvm i fixed it. it was the service problem, not running as a protected service. To err is human... to really foul up requires the root password. The *REAL* Y2K is the year 2048. |
