i acknowledge the effeciency improvement of running grid computing tasks on your graphics card. but this is not a solution i want on my comp. however, i want to donate idle cpu time to seti. my search for a preference to disable receiving gpu tasks or a forum topic that already discusses this was not successful so, how do i set up seti/boinc to only accept task that are run by the cpu instead of the gpu |

Oh, that's nothing to hit yourself over the head with. I only advertise it in my signature. You're welcome though. :-) |

I would not mind running CUDA, but there is a limit of 35 packages per day and my CUDA ate them up.. All this time and no packets comming in.. Guess I have to disable it. |

I would not mind running CUDA, but there is a limit of 35 packages per day and my CUDA ate them up.. All this time and no packets comming in.. If you have a limit of 35 per day then you have been having some errors.. For every computation error your limit goes down by 1 everytime you successfully return a result it doubles its current value.. The max limit is 100 wu per core per day... Just give it a couple days of returning successful results and all will be well...
