Same further south. Started raining at 5am and hasn't stopped. Just started to get really heavy. Hail? Yeah We don't need any of that as I'll be out on the road soon and Snow would be bad enough(It's predicted for 3000' in elevation), Hail Suggests My Car will get lumped. :D CA HSR built a foundation, is laying Track! Up until lunch time the Met Office was forecasting snow for my locale but it is now raining and no snow WOOPIE hate snow unless it is at least 2' deep(dosn't hurt as much when you fall)pavement has been sheet ice all week now almost all gone double WOOPIE also seems to be geting warmer at least during daylight hours. Old enough to know better(but)still young enough not to care |

Rain here as well, leading to possible flooding in some areas. From history, we're OK, but it might be a bit tough getting into downtown later in the day. Feels like the January Thaw might stretch into March! Same here, flooding and ice jams on the creeks and rivers. And it is raining, still. The ground is so saturated, the water has no where to go, so it looks like a swamp everywhere you look.
