It just depends on if there's any driver restrictions on the app and if the card is 1.1 compute capablility. ID: 854276 ·

The card i am using is a 9600m Gt with 179 Drivers There is good news regarding 6.08. There's been some checking on the release of 6.08 and was posted in another thread here. Does that mean unlike the mod app that people won't need to have driver version 180.48 or above for 6.08 or is that something that can't be gotten around? There is no minimum requirement on driver version. The application should work fine with all driver versions out there, even though it was built and tested against 181.20 Just to be sure I did ask if there was a minimum requirement, especially for those people with Notebooks by HP/Dell and IBM/Lenovo who are stuck at a lower driver version as their manufacturers haven't updated yet. The minimum version that enables CUDA is Rel 178. If you cannot get updated drivers from your own manufacturer, you can try if the Nvidia notebook drivers work for you. So you if you can get the current exe for CUDA, you may be able to use that in an app info file untill 6.08 is released and then you can switch over to that one. It still invloves getting the link to the file or having someone upload it for you, but there's a good chance once it's all put together in an app info file and installed that it could work.
