I have about 6 of these WU's like this. It all of a sudden started happening this week, snow on the screen, screen going black, drivers re-loading, etc. I just downloaded/installed the 180.60 to see if that makes a difference, keeping my fingers crossed!

Well I got through 1 WU, on the second one it errored out, black screen, re-loaded drivers, then again on the 3rd as well. GPU temp was under 60C. Exited out of BOINC, no problems since. Ran a game, higer demand on card, let temp get higher and still no problems. Will not allow any further GPU work until these bugs get worked out. Looking forward to being able to use a stable version and really get some numbers! :)

That's something the developers try to figure out as well, so they would like information from you. Nothing secret. See this thread for the information.

Hi BigWaveSurfer,

i'm using a 9600GT too.
Since im running Cuda (~1 week), i had two full-crashs followed from reboot.
My Config:
OS : WinXP Pro SP3 32bit
gfx: nv4_disp 6.14.11.8048 - nVIDIA ForceWare 180.48
-- > from: 180.48_geforce_winxp_32bit_international_whql.exe

Atm running opt-cuda-app from Raistmer without that many problems.
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=50829
But notice: Not supported by seti-devs ;)
My GPU-temp is under 50°C (45-47) if cuda is running -> thx to RivaTuner ;)

Thanks, will provide that info to them. I even ran a 2 hour load test on the card, passed with flying colors!
