Definately a validator problem.

MB WU waiting validation has grown from 0 to ~170,000 over the last 12 hrs (about 4 hrs backlog).

Hopefully it wont cause any major dramas.

The odd completed WU seems to be uploading here.
Maybe the system is back up and processing it's little modem off again?

My upload jam broke a few minutes ago, finally.

But I suspect that it is because Seti has nothing to send, despite what the status page says.

Thanks for that report -- same experience here. Perhaps some sort of mechanism could be set up for uploads versus downloads when the pipe is clogged. Seems to me that during the 24 hours prior to the Tuesday outage, scaling back downloads and allowing uploads might clear things up as it might do after the outage as well. With folks often enough having 2 or 3 day caches, they would have enough work and not have as big a 'surge' of upload traffic to generate. Just a thought.

I would agree that upload may need some priority.
I have been watching mine off and on today and because of the upload bottleneck, I was unable to download because I had pending uploads. Chicken and the egg.
I feared I was going into the outage with no work, despite keeping 3 day cache.
Besides, what good is it to send out work if you cannot get it back.

Looks like the log jam is back again. Of course it is likely to get worse as a function of the Tuesday outage 12 hours from now.

My upload jam broke a few minutes ago, finally.

But I suspect that it is because Seti has nothing to send, despite what the status page says.

By now (8:48 UTC) the status page agrees: 0 MB and 0 AP to send. AP splitters not running, MB splitters disabled. Updated 8:41 UTC. Hmmm ....

Regards,
John.

No such problems here, but getting a lot of "SETI@home|Message from server: (Project has no jobs available)" over the last couple of days.

I had listen several complaints about sites in .ru-zone , while others works quite well, so the problem had been spotted here also. Maybe somewhere at international traffic-exchange hardware or probably hackers launched massive DDoS again, IMHO
