GeForce 8400GS - 512mb RAM At current rate, doing about 7.2% per hour. :-/ This is way slower than my CPU which does over 26% per hour. You will be assimilated...bunghole! |

On a very basic P4/3000 + 8600GT system. From approx 15mins for a 14 credit "shorty" to approx an hour for one of the 70 credit units coming out ATM. These are "Wall Time" figures This gives it performance equivalent to 1 CPU of the O/C'd E7200 with AK_v8 which is my fastest per CPU hour cruncher. Not overly spectactular but a better than 3x improvement over what the P4 was doing before. Brodo |

Attempted it on my laptop, Quadro NVS 160 with 512 DDR3. Made the PC run horribly slow (graphics very laggy) and CPU time went from 45 min to over 5 hours. Will try it on my 8800GTX 768Mb once its done with its two AP tasks although I think the FX-62 I have in there will run faster then just the CUDA. Could do that trick to make it run all three at once but I'm worried about video lagging on that too but we'll see. |
