That depends on if its an actual 4x PCIe slot or if its a 16x PCIe wired for 4x only. If so, then yes. If not, then due to the way the notching works on the cards, I'm afraid it won't work. |

It's a 16x slot wired to 4x, As in the 2nd or Black slots in My Asus P5K Deluxe motherboards. So what I just described will work in the Asus motherboards Black slot? Savoir-Faire is everywhere! Yes. Any x16 graphics card that you put into that slot will operate at the x4 speed instead. |

Yes. Any x16 graphics card that you put into that slot will operate at the x4 speed instead. No problem! PC hardware is my specialty (well, that and every flavor of Windows all the way back to Windows 3.0!). :) |
