Hi, the color purple is unfortunetly not available, but the SERVER is, on :[As of 10 Dec 2008 21:00:13 UTC] Maybe someone has 'kicked' 'em :), or 'it' has normalized on it's own? Only, I don't see many downloads, but do see a message in my BOINC-Log, about the latest AP cruncher. And with an optimized MB, you can't crunch AP-WU's! (And you have to EDIT your app_info.xml file!) Think I (we) need to adapt this for more AP WU's?!

Just a wild guess, but since the upload server is Bruno, and Bruno also has all the validators, at 18:30:49utc, the server status page was showing this: upload server bruno Running file_deleter1 bruno Running file_deleter2 bruno Running file_deleter3 bruno Running vote_monitor bruno Running sah_validate1 bruno Not Running sah_validate2 bruno Not Running sah_validate3 bruno Not Running sah_validate4 bruno Not Running sah_validate5 bruno Not Running sah_validate6 bruno Not Running Could that be a reason we can't upload? Maybe another automount or nfs hang? Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

Yeah, I was trying to figure out if it was a problem on my end or not (sometimes I end up having to do an `ipconfig /renew' and then uploads go right through after that), but I did a manual update, and it contacted the scheduler just fine, just won't upload. I prefer less than perfect in, garbage out! LOL Isn't that what programmers call 'input buffering'? LOL. "Learn from yesterday. Live for today. Hope for tomorrow." Albert Einstein "With cats." kittyman

Missed the thread as I had the "Last Post" sort wrong. The thread was on the 2nd page...which I never go to. I hate it that computers do exactly what you tell them to do. ;-) Garbage in, garbage out....LOL. "Learn from yesterday. Live for today. Hope for tomorrow." Albert Einstein "With cats." kittyman

My ISP was down last night and this morning till just a little while ago with server issues, and once I get back online I find Seti having upload problems, so I go over to Einstein since I'm out of work on a few pc's and get "Einstein@Home is temporarily shut down. Please try again later." I can tell it's going to be one of those days. |
