don't know how to install it, got xsensors , but it just shows a blank window. Ubuntu? Start the program "Software Packages" and search for "sensor". You should find a package call lm_sensors and sensors-applet. Install those and any other requirements that is says it needs. Once done, goto the command line and run: sudo sensors-detect Just type yes for all the questions it asks or press ENTER as appropriate. Then, you can add an applet to your task bar to show the temperatures and maybe fan speeds too. If you get really lost, perform a web search on Google for "installing sensors-applet Ubuntu" for better instructions. |
