. . . guess which way this will go.

With 3 hosts involved, the claim from that host will be discarded. Assuming the 3rd host is running a recent version of BOINC, it should claim something near the 103 mark, though as its "Sent" day differs the exact amount will be different.

< seriously - i am NOT laughin' Sir!

guess it's all goin' to be up to Berkeley to tell the truth eh?

btw Petros - see PM / List

Or, we can go with what we already know.

BOINC throws out the highest and lowest claimed credit, and takes the average of the remaining claimed credit. That is the granted credit.

If there are only two results, only the highest is thrown out.

As someone else has said, if there were are three results, then the wildly low score will get tossed.

If not, then that is the luck of the draw -- we all lose some credit to this from time to time, and the system doesn't pick on anyone (except maybe the guy running the old BOINC client).

Thanks for keeping me honest Joe. I thought if all three were weakly similar and were awarded credit, all three would get the low score.

I think you found the answer. With all of the hello messages and other greeting that we have sent out, we never invited them for a beer. Of course we have not found them. They must think were hording.
