Query: To what software are you referring? What features are missing?

You need to provide more information or we can't help you with your problem.

Over in the accessible view take out of the program and run it with no limits.
It is pointless to any restrictions on this software. When you have this removed I will run it on my computer! Thanks Bill

You have a bunch of people who would like to help you resolve this.

We're all scratching our heads trying to figure out what "this" is.

His BOINC was 5.10.34 (alpha version, release date January 8th, 2008)
His OS is Darwin 8.11.1 (OS X 10.4.11)
His Seti_Enhanced version was an optimized (afaics) 5.28 (setiathome_enhanced 5.28 XCode GCC 4.0.1 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 5367) i386)

Accessible view is for visually impaired people who use a speech-reader program that will tell them where they are in the BOINC Manager GUI. You want to restrict them access to BOINC solely based on your opinion that it is pointless? When you aren't visually impaired, use Grid view instead.

So then don't use the Accessible View if its not for you. Why not use Grid View instead? Accessible View is there for people who need it (people with disabilities), so I don't foresee it being taken out and thus blocking those users from using BOINC.

What is it in the accessible view that you find limits or restricts the software? Can you point us directly to it so we can see what you are talking about? Is it the Accessible View itself, or something else?

It has been mentioned to the developers that the grid/accesible views need to be combined such that the advanced view has the features of the grid view plus the accessibility of the other view.

I'm sorry, but I fail to see the connection. What does that have to do with limits?
