Well it is time for me to post to the milestone thread once again. Crunchers, I salute you. Congratulations to all on your achievements and may you reach your next target swiftly. I see the Big Boys are reaching historic Milestones of their own. I admire your dedication ! Just for kicks I tried to compile a list of what crunched all those BOINCified work units. I came up with this : The venerable P54C The disappointing Klamath The everlasting Mendocino ( And his buddy 440BX ) The anemic-but-endearing K6-2 The short-lived Katmai The affordable Spitfire The works-as-advertised Thoroughbred The frugal Dothan The warm Northwood And the dominating Kentsfield Some sporadic contributions by various flavors of "borrowed" Xeon boxes are also worth mentioning :) Whilst I was digging up what kind of systems I had had crunching I rewound the Number Crunching forum all the way to the date I rejoined S@H, which was when BOINC was being introduced and Classic was still running in parallel. BOY did I ever have fun rereading all the drama. Nostalgia kind of kicked in too. Most of the forum staples (nay, pillars) seem to be still around and I was even surprised to see that some very peculiar users of yore still had their account, and better still : RAC. So, what comes after 1 Mil ? mambo |

So, what comes after 1 Mil ? 2 million. Unless your Mark of Dcappello, in which case it's 100 million. Nez must be feeling worried about you guys. I just passed 11 million, but that's for Bonic combined. My goal is 1 mil on all of my projects. |

I just realized that it has been 2 years since I joined SETI (and Boinc, for that matter). Yesterday, to be exact. On we will go, fellow crunchers :-) Regards, John. |
