I took this photo a couple months ago.

I like it because of the way the moss grows out of the concrete and the half-off board suggest urban decay.

BTW: this is the back side of my apartment building. :|

A link because it is above the 768 vertical pixel limit of this thread

Great shot.

I don't remember what it is, but it's not a llama, at least not a standard one. It's much thinner, a little taller, and nearly hairless. I took that photo at the Los Angeles Zoo a few years ago.

With the notched ears it looks like it belonged to someone who was raising them.

Well, for you, I can say where it is :)

The foreground is Glendale, and the background is Los Angeles, California.

It was taken on Valentine's day (night) a couple of years ago.

My Great Grandfather came from one of Denmark's smallest islands - Samsø. I don't suppose that's enough to make us distant cousins, though.

Oh.. i am really Lucky! ;-) Thanx SJ! I`ve heard the name Glendale..but since im not too known in that area, I will check it up on theh map ;-D

Im also very happy to hear you have some genes from over here.. hehe.. well, you can never know if we are related..After all I do have some Danish links in my ancestor tree.. and one of them is the Danish King Christian V and Grevinne av (countess of) Samsøe, Sophie Amalie Moth.. lol.. Please don’t tell anyone.. ;-D – but there is a very interesting story going with it.. And several people where I live comes from that line..just because a special woman refused to be left behind ;-))
So There! LoL

Btw… Samsø is a beautiful island. ;-)

It looks like it was taken after a rainstorm had passed through.
I used to live in that area and very few were the days that you could see that far.

Yes, you may use it. I'm honored! But let me give you a link to a higher resolution version:

Bigger version here

Your browser may resize it, if you can't get it full size, 2929 x 1838, I'll try another method.

Or try this: Another link to it here

Very cool, thanks.

And if you right click on a downloaded image in a browser it will alternate between resized-to-fit-screen and full size. (At least, this works in FF and IE7)
